As you know, at<\/span> MAE Sports and Education<\/span><\/a> we not only work directly with students and their families to find the ideal option, among the more than 5,000 universities in the United States, but also,<\/span> in our blog,<\/span><\/a> we inform you of events and tournaments in which we are present; such as the one that took place recently at <\/span> Panor\u00e1mica<\/b> Club de Golf in Sant Jordi, <\/b> the fifth round of Ligas Golf Valencia-Castell\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

This was the Sant Jordi Golf Tournament<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sant Jordi<\/b> Golf Club<\/b> panoramic view <\/b> witnessed an exciting competition that brought together 90 golfers, both children and parents, from the Valencia and Castell\u00f3n areas. The competition, marked by challenging weather conditions, showed the determination of the participants, who were accompanied by their families, sharing the essence of the project. <\/span>Ligas Golf Foundation.<\/b><\/p>\n

The first day: sun and wind<\/span><\/h3>\n

The tournament started on a sunny day, Saturday 18th May, although a strong wind in the afternoon put the <\/span> players’ skills to the test.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

In the Benjam\u00edn Handicap category, Olivia from CC Mediterr\u00e1neo de Borriol stood out with an impressive performance<\/span>, taking the title,<\/b> and in the same category, Scratch modality, Guillermo from Club de Golf El Saler showed his talent and precision to take the victory.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Alev\u00edn category saw Eric from Real Club de Golf de Manises, who won in the Scratch category. In the Handicap category, In\u00e9s from Club de Golf El Saler won the trophy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second day: rain at the tournament organised at Panor\u00e1mica Club de Golf<\/span><\/h3>\n

On Sunday 19 May, the rain made an appearance, adding an extra challenge to the competition. However, this did not stop the talents, both small and large, from competing, <\/span>to give their best in every stroke.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the children’s category of the<\/span> golf tournament,<\/b> Arturo from Club de Golf Escorpi\u00f3n made history by achieving, for the first time in his life, a score of 71 strokes, one under par, crowning him as the Scratch Super Champion. In the same category, Rafael, also from Club de Golf Escorpi\u00f3n <\/span>won the trophy in the Handicap category.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the Cadet category, Gast\u00f3n from the El Bosque club dominated the Scratch category, while Rafa from the Costa Azahar club won the Handicap category, demonstrating a solid and strategic game.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, in the Under 21 classification, Lucas from Club de Golf Costa Azahar was crowned champion in the Scratch category, and Roberto from Club de Golf El Saler won in the Handicap category, both showing an<\/span> exceptional level of play.<\/b><\/p>\n

The prize-giving ceremony of <\/span> the golf tournament<\/b> was held on Sunday 19 May at 16:00. The ceremony was a moment of celebration and pride, recognising the effort and dedication of all the competitors. <\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the <\/span> results of the tournament were spectacular, <\/b> and all the participants left with a smile on their faces, happy to have competed in another round of this golf circuit. The sixth round will be on the 16th of June at Masia de las Estrellas. <\/span><\/p>\n

From <\/span> MAE<\/span><\/a> we are happy to see the new generations grow in this sport and continue promoting and supporting the Golf Leagues circuit.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Many of these young talents continue to play the sport and are often constrained by the incompatibility of being able to continue their education and training at a high level. <\/span><\/p>\n
